National Aids Memorial Grove
The National AIDS Memorial Grove, located in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, is a dedicated space in the national landscape where millions of Americans touched directly or indirectly by AIDS can gather to heal, remember and hope. Its mission is to provide, in perpetuity, a place of remembrance so that the lives of people who died from AIDS are not forgotten and the story of the AIDS pandemic is known by future generations.
Robert Holgate has been a donor to the AIDS Memorial Grove for many years.
Keshet
Keshet is a national organization that works for full LGBTQ equality and inclusion in Jewish life. Led and supported by LGBTQ Jews and straight allies, Keshet cultivates the spirit and practice of inclusion in all parts of the Jewish community.
Robert Holgate will join the board of directors in 2018.
New Conservatory Theatre Center (NCTC)
The mission of New Conservatory Theatre Center is to champion innovative, high-quality productions & educational theatre experiences for youth, artists, and the queer & allied communities to effect personal & societal growth, enlightenment and change.
Robert Holgate has been on the NCTC board of directors since 2016.
National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)
The National Center for Lesbian Rights is committed to advancing LGBT equality. NCLR’s programs focus on employment, immigration, youth, elder law, transgender law, sports, marriage, relationship protections, reproductive rights, and family law to create safer homes, safer jobs, and a more just world.
Robert Holgate was the co-chair of the major gift campaign for two consecutive recent years.
