| Breathe Magazine featured the Wu Wei project in the February 2005 issue. The article, by Andrew Wagner, was titled The Buddhist Principle of Wu Wei Frees up a San Francisco Home. The artice focused on the art of Wu Wei, which is the fine art of moving pieces around until you find their appropriate place in the world. While Feng Shui is based on the proper ordering of all things in life, Wu Wei literally means "non-doing", and has been described as "purposeless wandering". Wagner goes on to say that Wu Wei is far less popular in interior design because of its absense of rules. There are no coffee table books or TV shows on the subject. It is simply based on an inherent feeling you get when something fits just right. |
